The countdown is on, we are inside two weeks from hitting the biggest stage in sports entertainment: WWE WrestleMania. And this week, the Road to WrestleMania will stop by the TD Garden in Boston to unleash some Monday Night Raw excitement. Here’s what we know so far.
Two weeks ago, Drew McIntyre dished out a beating to Roman Reigns. Last week, McIntyre issued a challenge to Reigns to meet him on the grandest stage in two weeks. We all know Reigns is just coming back from hiatus following his cancer remission. But how much damage did that attack do to him, after suffering a Claymore Kick at ringside? Will The Big Dog be on hand this week to reclaim his yard, or will the Scottish Psychopath look to create more destruction?
Beth Phoenix is back in the news. That is a good news/bad news situation. Good news, if you’re a fan of The Glamazon, but potentially bad if you happen to be Bayley, Sasha Banks or pretty much anybody else that’s on the opposite side of her good friend Natalya as of late. Last week, The WWE Hall of Famer offered to come out of retirement and team up with Nattie for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania. But Tamina and Nia Jax have some interest in that situation as well. It will be interesting to see what happens this week, if Bayley and Sasha agree to defend their titles, or if they opt for other challenges.
