It’s a franchise that has only made two playoff appearances since 2002. Can the Miami Dolphins turn things around under their latest head coach?

This past season, the Miami Dolphins got off to a surprising 3-0 start. But the team could not sustain that early momentum. The club would lose nine of its final 13 contests and finish with a losing record for the second straight year – this after Adam Gase had led the ‘Fins to the playoffs with a 10-6 mark during his first year at the helm in ’16.

Now the organization is hoping new head coach Brian Flores, late of Bill Belichick’s defensive staff with the New England Patriots, can get this proud franchise back on track. So far this offseason, it’s been more about who’s no longer with the team rather than who the Dolphins have added.

When the Dolphins schedule is announced, we will update immediately.

Home: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins

Away: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers

Here is how the complete schedule, week-by-week, lays out for the Miami Dolphins:

Week 1 (Sep. 8) – vs. Ravens
Week 2 (Sep. 15) – vs. Patriots
Week 3 (Sep. 22) – @ Cowboys
Week 4 (Sep. 29) – vs. Chargers
Week 5 (Oct. 6) – BYE
Week 6 (Oct. 13) – vs. Redskins
Week 7 (Oct. 20) – @ Bills
Week 8 (Oct. 28) – @ Steelers (MNF)
Week 9 (Nov. 3) – vs. Jets
Week 10 (Nov. 10) – @ Colts
Week 11 (Nov. 17) – vs. Bills
Week 12 (Nov. 24) – @ Browns
Week 13 (Dec. 1) – vs. Eagles
Week 14 (Dec. 8) – @ Jets
Week 15 (Dec. 15) – @ Giants
Week 16 (Dec. 22) – vs. Bengals
Week 17 (Dec. 29) – @ Patriots

It’s been an offseason of limited moves for this club. The Dolphins did sign journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and added a pair of former New England Patriots in tight end Dwayne Allen and cornerback Eric Rowe. But general manager Chris Grier was busy adding draft choices to the team’s arsenal these next two years, dealing quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans and defensive end Robert Quinn to the Dallas Cowboys.

Since reaching the postseason with 10 victories in 2016, the Miami Dolphins own a combined 13-19 win-loss record. Some have questioned the organization’s approach this offseason in terms of getting this team turned around. Some patience will need to be exercised to fix a club that has its share of issues in many aspects.
