Now that the 2019 NFL schedule has been released, mark your calendars with the dates of the ten biggest games the National Football League has to offer in 2019.

We are still months away from the start of training camp, let alone the regular season, but things look brighter now that the NFL schedule has been released. A simple piece of paper with the 256 dates and times for the 2019 season is enough to satisfy the thirst for football that builds after the Super Bowl each year.

Not all games are created equal, however, and there are plenty of worthy storylines to track over the course of an NFL season. We have combed through the entire slate of action and spotlighted the ten best games 2019 has to offer, including the reasons why you need to make sure you’re on your coach and watching them in the fall.

This list obviously won’t be perfect and is up for plenty of debate, so feel free to let us know if you think we missed a marquee matchup. We’ll get started with a look at a potential showdown between the two AFC North favorites, Cleveland and Baltimore.

10. Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

You know things will be different in 2019 when the Cleveland Browns are must-see TV, but we are in a brave new world. After going 0-16 just two years ago, Cleveland has dramatically remade itself in the course of 24 months, landing a franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield and surrounding him with elite talent like Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, and Myles Garrett.

Oddsmakers have established the Browns as a top contender for the AFC North, but in order to do that they will need to take down the reigning division champs, the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore won the division on the strength of its dominant defense and the power running attack led by rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson, but they suffered some major defections this winter as Eric Weddle, C.J. Mosley, Terrell Suggs, and John Brown left town.

These two teams played a fantastic game in Week 17, with Baltimore surviving a late push from the Browns to win the division, and it’s important to remember that they have a bitter rivalry thanks to former Ravens’ owner Art Modell. Modell abandoned Cleveland in the mid-90’s, taking the original Browns to Baltimore to become the Ravens, and won a Super Bowl with them in 2000.

Cleveland will need to get by the Ravens in order to try and win the division for the first time since re-joining the NFL, and this matchup in Baltimore should be intense. The Ravens’ rabid fan base creates one of the most intimidating environments in the NFL, so watching how the young Browns navigate that challenge will be appointment viewing.
