Happy ‘HBO released new Game of Thrones photos’ day, a.k.a. Wednesday. Here’s your sneak peek at the Battle of Winterfell in season 8 episode 3.
Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 still does not have a title, nor will HBO likely release one before the episode finishes airing Sunday night, but we do have photos! (Would they be so obvious as to go with “Battle of Winterfell”?) The photos don’t answer the most pressing question on everyone’s mind — who dies?? — but they do set the scene for what’s sure to be a landmark Thrones episode.
The Battle of Winterfell, formal episode name TBD, will go down this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and by live stream on HBO Go and HBO NOW. The episode will be the longest of season 8, with a runtime of 1 hour, 22 minutes. The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is six episodes long, set to conclude on May 19, 2019.
Watch Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 on Sunday, April 28 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and online by live stream with HBO Go and HBO Now.
