8. Andrew Thomas – Offensive tackle, Georgia

While Walker Little may have a high upside, Andrew Thomas is already an elite offensive lineman and will able to prove it again in 2019. Being the best player on a team stacked with talent like Georgia is no easy feat, but Thomas has been a producing at a high level from the moment he stepped on campus in Athens.

Starting as a right tackle and now entering his second year on the left side, Thomas allowed all of 11 pressures on 314 pass-blocking snaps according to PFF’s stats.  We’ve mentioned a couple of SEC defensive lineman, and there are plenty more that will be high draft picks, but for the most part, Thomas has been able to keep them all at bay.

Thomas is as dominant in both the run and pass game with physical traits that would make NFL teams jump at the opportunity to draft him. Guys his size do not usually move that fast, and if they do they don’t have the technique, he already possesses.

Another strong season in 2019 should lead to Thomas having his name mentioned for every award and All-American team possible. Then where April rolls around, he’ll have a strong case to be the first tackle off the board.
