32 college football players destined to be future first round NFL Draft picks
5. Jerry Jeudy – Wide receiver, Alabama
This list is full of what should be elite wide receiver prospects, but there is no doubt who the leader of the group is heading into 2019. It’s Jerry Jeudy.
When you are watching him play it is hard to find a flaw in his game, then after a while you begin to realize there might not be a flaw in his game. Jeudy isn’t an imposing player (6’1″190 pounds), but much like Odell Beckham Jr., he plays far beyond his size.
Name what you want in a receiver and Jeudy provides it. He is the best route runner in the country, has great hands, has elite speed and elusiveness to beat defenders in the open field, wins contested catches and plays outside or the slot. Jeudy won the 2018 Biletnikoff award for the best receiver in the nation and if healthy all season will be looking for back to back trophies.
The combo of Tua and Jeudy will once again strike fear in the hearts of every SEC defense, and it will be fun to watch. And whatever team drafts him will be getting player with the ability to be an elite receiver for years to come.
