FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – June 5, 2019
High Value Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $12,000
Serge Ibaka (at GS – $7,000): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Golden State. Ibaka may not play many minutes but his versatility will allow him to stay on the floor. And he’s shown that he can get solid numbers even in limited minutes. If Gasol isn’t able to stay on the floor as much, Ibaka is a good fall back option and the Raptors may need to throw different looks at the Warriors. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
DeMarcus Cousins (vs TOR – $9,000): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Toronto. With Looney injured, Cousins may have played more an originally planned. But he was effective in those minutes and paid big dividends for the Warriors. As long as he’s going to get the playing time, and it certainly looks like he will, then he’s a strong option. Especially at this salary. He’s a PRO pick at the very least or a strong UTIL saver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Marc Gasol (at GS – $11,000): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.2 fantasy points against Golden State. Gasol was down last game in a big way but don’t give up on him just yet. The Raptors had trouble with DeMarcus Cousins actually making an impact. They will certainly adjust coming into this game to more effectively use Gasol. At least, that’s got to be the hope if you’re a Raptors fan. The problem is his salary as it’s simply too high for the risk that he is. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
