High Salary Guards

Players costing over $8,333

Stephen Curry (vs TOR – $11,800): Needs 48.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 73 fantasy points against Toronto. With Klay out, Curry had to be extra great in Game 3. Can he do it again? If he doesn’t have Klay or KD, it will be hard for him to replicate that Game 3 performance. If he has one of them, he’ll be much better off as it will take some pressure off of him. Either way, he’s Steph and you can never go wrong with Steph. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (at GS – $8,000): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Lowry found his scoring touch in Game 3 and that’s hopefully a good sign for him moving forward. Lowry is always going to are streaky with his scoring but he contributes in other areas. He remains a relatively consistent option who is never going to lack for minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs TOR – $8,600): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Klay missed Game 3 and who knows of his status for Game 4. It probably won’t be decided until just before the game which means a lot of the information you’re reading right now is going to be moot because if Klay and/or KD play, everything changes for both teams. More KD than Klay. If Klay plays, the ceiling is high but he’s obviously banged up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
