DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – June 7, 2019
High Salary Forwards/Centers
Players costing over $8,333
Kawhi Leonard (at GS – $11,600): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Kawhi didn’t have to be great in Game 3 because the Warriors didn’t have the firepower and Kawhi was able to defer a little bit more to take advantage of matchups. If Klay and/or KD are in the lineup for the Warriors, the Raptors will need Kawhi to be great because he’s still the best player on the team. Even if the matchup breaks well for the Raptors again, Kawhi is going to get numbers because he’s Kawhi. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Draymond Green (vs TOR – $10,400): Needs 41.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Draymond was down in Game 3, which wasn’t all that surprising with Klay out of the lineup. Draymond is good and does a bit of everything but having one less strong offensive option hurts his game as it takes away from assists and puts more pressure on him as an offensive player. If KD and/or Klay are in the lineup, Draymond’s reliability goes up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Pascal Siakam (at GS – $9,400): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.25 fantasy points against Golden State. Siakam was solid in Game 3 but you still need more out of him at this salary. He’s still a good option because he’s a matchup issue for the undermanned Warriors squad. His ceiling remains high but his reliability is still in question simply because Kawhi and Lowry are going to be the top options over him if they have it going. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
