To no one’s surprise, a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 was officially unveiled during the Xbox E3 Briefing and it’s easily one of the most anticipated games.

Developer CD Projekt Red can do absolutely no wrong at this point. Responsible for The Witcher series, especially the award-winning The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the creators are now working on something entirely new, Cyberpunk 2077. Though revealed years ago, fans have gone a long time without an update. Now, after seeing so much footage, including the new trailer from the Xbox E3 Briefing, it’s our most anticipated game of next year (yes, it has a release date).

The new trailer didn’t show much gameplay at all since it was mostly a cinematic trailer focusing on beautiful cut scenes. That was more than enough for the audience, however. A huge part of this game will be the graphics, the compelling story and the gorgeous cut scenes. There was also a big reveal of a character, which caught everyone by surprise.

One of the most beloved action stars today, Keanu Reeves, will be making an appearance in the game. His role in the game is currently unknown, but given the big reveal, we’re assuming he’s going to play a huge part in the game.

Check out the trailer below:

The plot is still relatively unknown. What we do know is the game is set in Night City, California, in a dystopian future. Fans who love properties such as Blade Runner will get a kick out of this game, for sure.

Prior to this year’s show, it was obvious that this was the most anticipated game to be showcased. Now that we’ve gotten another glimpse, fans know exactly when they’ll be able to get their hands on this potential masterpiece.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16, 2020.
