The Netherlands face Canada at Auguste-Delaune Stadium on Thursday, June 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The action in Group E wraps up on Thursday as the Netherlands play Canada in Reims. The two teams have already advanced to the knockout stage after winning the first two games of the group stage. The winner of Thursday’s game will win the group and get a significantly easier game in the knockout stage. The loser of the game will face either the United States or Sweden in the round of 16. If Thursday’s game ends in a draw, the Netherlands will finish first, as they have scored more goals than Canada.

The Netherlands are the reigning European Champions and are expected to make a deep run into the tournament. Vivianne Miedema is one of the best-attacking players in the tournament. The Dutch striker has one goal in the tournament but is coming off of a 29-goal season with Arsenal.

Jill Roord leads the Dutch side with two goals after scoring a brace against New Zealand. Roord has followed a very similar career path to Miedema, signing with Bayern Munich after leaving the Netherlands and will join Arsenal following the World Cup.

Canada have won the last two Olympic bronze medals but success in the World Cup has been limited. The Canucks have appeared in six World Cups but have failed to get out of the group stage four times. Often overshadowed by their American neighbors to the south, Canada are hoping that they can make a long run in the tournament that will likely be the last for captain Christine Sinclair.

The 36-year-old Sinclair is one of the greatest women’s players of all time and needs only four goals to break Abby Wambach’s record for most international goals. Kadeisha Buchanan is one of three Canadian goal scorers in the tournament. Buchanan was named the best young player at the 2015 Women’s World Cup when Canada hosted. The 23-year-old Toronto native is in conversation as one of the best center-backs in the women’s game.
