Bond 25 officially began filming last month and now fans can get a behind the scenes look from the set in Jamaica.

James Bond is back, well hopefully next year he will be. Filming began for the franchises 25th entry in Jamaica last month. After a setback due to Daniel Craig’s ankle injury, filming is back on schedule and from what the video shows, it’s looking great.

There are a few segments here in which director Cary Fukunaga is conferring with Craig (Bond), and they seem to be in good spirits. This is typically how filming a movie should be but with the seemingly endless reports of trouble on set, and even before filming, some fans had grown worried.

The teaser clip should get fans excited about the movie where Jamaica, Caribbean Island is one of the s hooting locations. The teaser shows people dancing and engaging in the nightlife, but old friend Jeffrey Wright, who plays CIA agent Felix Leiter, also makes an appearance. Wright appeared in Craig’s first two outings as James Bond in 2005’s Casino Royale and 2008’s Quantum of Solace.

Bond 25, the title is unknown thus far, will be Craig’s last in the franchise and it is unclear how Bond will move forward after this film. Based on his work, the ending should be fitting to his more serious and current portrayal of the British MI6 spy.

Originally, this film was set to be directed by Danny Boyle, but that relationship ended over creative differences and the release date was pushed back. In addition to Craig’s ankle injury, a crewmember was injured in an explosion on June 4 that also damaged part of the soundstage. The crewmember was only reported to have minor injuries and it would seem they are okay.

Look for the 25th James Bond film to premiere, tentatively, in April 2020.
