The Chicago Bears have announced their home uniform schedule ahead of their 100th season, and their jerseys will have a patch commemorating this anniversary.

Thanks to an elite defense and progress from young quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, the Chicago Bears won 12 games and looked like Super Bowl contenders last season. While they will rue the way they exited the postseason against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Bears have plenty of momentum heading into 2019 and should be an extremely difficult team to face at Soldier Field.

They’ll also defend their home turf in style, as the Bears have announced their uniform schedule for all of their home games next season.

Some of them will include a special patch, as the 2019 season will be the Bears 100th as an organization. And these patches, located above the left chest of the jersey, look awesome.

The NFC North champions will wear their regular navy home jerseys for four of their eight games at Soldier Field, but they’ll have special uniforms for their other contests. This includes a “classic,” white uniform on Sept. 29 against the rival Minnesota Vikings and Dec. 5 for a critical battle between NFC contenders in the Dallas Cowboys. The “classic” uniform is based on the Bears 1936 jersey and will have a patch commemorating the century mark of the team’s existence.

On Nov. 24, the Bears will have a throwback to the 1960s, changing their helmets to a white “C” instead of an orange one, as they’ll look to flex their might against a transitioning New York Giants team that could start a rookie quarterback by that point in the season.

The Bears will don orange jerseys in their heated Oct. 27 battle with the AFC West’s Los Angeles Chargers, who have an explosive offense to match the Bears elite defense.

It would be sweet for the Bears to win a Super Bowl in their 100th season, and they are among the favorites in the NFC. Teams like the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams will present stiff competition in the conference, but the Bears have the ascending talent on offense and the enviable talent on defense to make it happen.
