No matter what’s going on, it’s always a good time to go to Starbucks and you’re in luck if you’re hoping for an iced latte on the 4th of July.

Starbucks is like Old Faithful. No matter what, it’s always there for you. Starbucks will be open on the 4th of July for all of your coffee needs. Thank goodness, because some of us won’t make it to the fireworks without our daily dose of caffeine!

Over the years, Starbucks has become more than just a morning cup of coffee. It’s an institution. For some folks, heading to get a cup of coffee on holidays is a tradition. Grab a coffee, read the paper, relax. Starbucks is also a place where people meet before heading out to enjoy the holiday, be it Thanksgiving or Easter or the 4th of July. Not only is it a great place for people to meet up with friends and family on the holiday, but it has also become a place for people to gather who don’t tend to go out on holidays, or who can’t travel to see their families on the holiday.

Starbucks prides itself on being open every day of the year. Most locations are always open, even if they are working under a modified schedule. In the case of the 4th of July, it’s possible that individual locations will close early to allow employees a chance to get home in time to watch the fireworks. Plan to hit your local Starbucks early before it closes, and don’t be surprised to find a long line if it’s before the fireworks start.

The caveat to the holiday hours comes when you find a Starbucks location inside a mall or other store that will have modified holiday hours. If that’s the case, it’s a good idea to call ahead to find out what the holiday schedule will be before heading out.
