10. Tua Tagovailoa – Alabama

Alabama came up short last season losing to Dabo Swinney’s tremendously deep Clemson Tigers in a lopsided championship game. Tagovailoa, however, was coming off an incredible end to the previous season stunning the Georgia Bulldogs in one of the best college football championship finishes of the last decade.

Last year, Tua followed up an incredible 2017 story with a brilliant 2018 campaign. One could argue he faced some pressure last season, but with Quinnen Williams and company on the defensive side of the ball and a deep offensive unit, Tagovailoa did not have to carry the team on his shoulders.

Now, Alabama is in a position rarely seen during the Nick Saban tenure – looking for revenge. On a bit of a redemption campaign, Tua will be tasked with leading the Crimson Tide to another championship game.

Another factor is that Tagovailoa will be looking to keep his draft stock as high as possible. Many experts have predicted a possible No. 1 overall selection for the young quarterback, so any hiccups could provide for a nightmare draft day experience.
