The ACC Network is here just in time for college football season but what channel is the new network and how can fans tune in to watch games?

With the start of a new college football season comes the launch of a new conference-specific network from ESPN. The ACC Network is set to launch on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. ET, just ahead of the start of the 2019 football season. And this should be a treat for fans.

Obviously, the programming on ACC Network will be specific to the ACC. But that doesn’t mean they will be shy on content. Much like with the SEC Network, there will be wall-to-wall coverage of the conference throughout the college football season and of every other sport throughout the year. Most importantly for football fans, though, ACCN will have 40 live college football games in the 2019 season.

This is going to be big for fans of the ACC, without question. However, as this is the launch of the new network, that means that fans are undoubtedly going to be looking for how to watch ACC Network. We’ve got you covered.

What channel is the ACC Network on DirecTV?

For starters, if you’re a DirecTV subscriber, you can find ACC Network on channel 612 and on DirecTV Now as well. Other video providers for the network are YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, PlayStation Vue, Verizon Fios, Spectrum, Optimum, TVision and SuddenLink.

If your cable provider is not listed above, you’re not out of luck entirely. You can go through ACCN and express your interest in your provider making a deal to include the new network in their channel lineup. You can do so here.

Those that do have one of those services and want to watch college football can obviously do so by tuning in to the respective ACC Network channel. However, you can also watch through the ESPN app when you connect with your service provider. Furthermore, WatchESPN will have access to ACCNX, which will carry extra content and games exclusive to the ESPN app and not available on the primary network.

ACC Network should be a game-changer for college football fans. No more searching for how to watch you favorite ACC team’s games — the answer has finally arrived.
