DFS NFL Love, like, leave – Week 1

Defense

Love

Detroit Lions (4,100): Detroit gets a high interest matchup against Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury‘s Air Raid offense. I’m not buying it just yet, and a much improved defensive line that should compete to be one of the leagues strongest units should make Murray’s life a living hell. Additions in their secondary will look to improve on last years poor TO numbers, and that DL should force plenty of hurried throws.

Like

Philadelphia Eagles (4,600): The Eagles defense is good, and keeps on getting better. Key additions in Zach Brown and Malik Jackson make an already good defense even stronger, and Washington should prove to be one of the slowest moving, low octane offenses in the NFL. The Eagles defense could have an absolute field day.

Leave

Baltimore Ravens (5,000: If you’re comfortable playing defense at over 5,000, the rush to the Ravens make sense. The top-ranked defense against a horrid offense, what isn’t to love? FitzMagic may be here again to start the season, and paying 5,000 for a defense that faces the kind of uncertainty only Ryan Fitzpatrick could provide in week 1 is a recipe for disaster.
