Here’s all the information you need for the September 9, 2019 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.

This week, WWE throws a long overdue party at Madison Square Garden as the King of the Ring tournament continues. And the tournament will have a first, with a triple threat match to determine who advances.

During last week’s quarterfinal match between Ricochet and Samoa Joe, a double pinfall had everyone confused. But the referee determined that both men would advance, and now they will face Baron Corbin in a triple threat match. In the history of the King of the Ring tournament, there have been situations where one person essentially received a “bye” to the next round because he had no opponent to face.

In this case, Corbin not only does not receive that advancement but now he must face two opponents to move on. There are huge implications here, because the winner of this encounter will face the winner of the SmackDown Live side of the bracket at Clash of Champions on September 15.

Last week, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley shocked the WWE Universe when she attacked Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch with a chair and rejoined Sasha Banks. She followed that up with a repeat performance on Charlotte Flair the next night on SmackDown Live. In response, WWE’s resident Four Horsewomen will now face each other in tag team action this week on Raw. This will be a big preview to Clash of Champions, when Lynch will defend her title against Banks and Bayley will defend against Flair.

It wouldn’t be a Garden Party without an appearance from the Texas Rattlesnake. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be in the house, and officiating the second attempt of a contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. While the duo are currently the Raw Tag Team Champions, and will defend their titles at Clash of Champions, they will also face each other later that night for Rollins’ Universal Championship.

They tried to have a signing last week, but AJ Styles and The O.C. crashed that party. Later that night, “Stone Cold” took to Twitter with an idea to take care of things himself. Anyone want to take guesses on how many Stone Cold Stunners will be delivered by the end of the night?

In addition, Rey Mysterio returns to action after his son convinced him not to retire. And Cedric Alexander will face United States Champion AJ Styles, looking for revenge after The O.C. slammed the door on his King of the Ring hopes. It’s shaping up to be a huge night, and usually a lot goes on when WWE hits Madison Square Garden.
