Fantasy football picks: Week 6 FanDuel GPP breakdown

Dede Westbrook – Normally this is the spot where I would talk about DJ Chark who is having just an incredible season. However, I am thinking he draws Marshon in coverage which is a spot that I will typically avoid. Dede is a bit cheaper anyway and gets a much better individual match-up. He has seen a spike in targets in the past few weeks, seeing 11 against Carolina. While he only has one score, the big game is coming. New Orleans gives up the seventh-most points to wide receivers. I really like Dede in a game that could be pretty high scoring.

Calvin Ridley – I nailed this play last week against Houston, as Ridley had 17 FanDuel points, so why not go right back to it. Arizona has ranked 27th in DVOA arguably the pass, and we saw what the corpse of Andy Dalton was able to do to this secondary. Top receiver Julio Jones is questionable with a hip injury, and while I am thinking he will play, if Jones sits that would put Ridley into an even better spot. This price tag is far too cheap considering how much upside Ridley brings, and he could be a GPP winning play.

Adam Thielen – I saw that everyone was sleeping on another one of my receivers last week, and boy did he have a big day. The Eagles give up the fifth-most points against receivers and have a very banged-up secondary that has been getting beat all season. It looks like Minnesota has already moved on from the Stefon Diggs experiment, as he continues to be a diva about his targets. It’s obvious he is no longer needed, as the focus should shift towards Adam. This is a game where he could get double-digit targets, considering it will be much closer than the Giants game.
