DFS NBA Love Like Leave – October 25

Small Forward

Love

Pascal Siakam (8,900): Siakam was another player who had a monster first game, and Fanduel noticed, raising his price 900. With no Leonard in Toronto, Siakam figures to be the main piece of the offense, and ball mover guards Lowry and VanVleet are going to get him the ball early and often. Look for Giannis 2.0 (a Raptors fan can hope) to continue his rise to superstardom.

Like

Isaac Bongo (4,200): Bonga drew the start in-game 1 for Washington, and managed to fight through early foul trouble in multiple quarters to still hit easy value. If he’s drawing the start again, look for Bonga to add a few minutes, and likely hit 20 again. He likely won’t win you any slate, but there are far easier ways to lose one.

Leave

Lebron James (11,200): The King is still the best player in basketball, but now he’s sharing the court with another top 5 player in the league, and one who needs the ball in his hands at that. James won’t have as many scoring explosions as years past, and as seen on Wednesday, even great counting stats don’t help. There is too much risk in Lebron when Siakam has a similar ceiling for 2,400 less. If Lebron’s floor was 10+ points higher than Siakam’s, I think he’s worth it, but his floor isn’t that high in my opinion.
