DraftKings NBA Picks October 25: Out on the Towns

DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

The clear top option at PF, and possibly the entire slate is Pascal Siakam. He was a force in every facet of the game for Toronto in the opener. He did well enough against Boston last year, but this is not the same Boston front he faced last year. Horford’s gone. Siakam is going to destroy the Celtics just like he did the Pelicans.

Lauri Markkanen put up numbers that almost rivaled Siakam until you get to the numbers besides points and rebounds. Both are superb options, and if you are willing to pay down at guard, you can fit both into your lineups with ease. I will have at least one build like that.

Porzingis was a bit rusty early on, but he picked it up as the game went on. If Porzingis can avoid a slow start, he could put up massive numbers with his price still just $7,600. He’s a great GPP alternative to Siakam and Markkanen.

Honorable Mention:

Foul trouble reared its ugly head again in the opener for Jaren Jackson, but he still had a double double in 25 minutes before evicting himself. The Bulls aren’t any better up front than the Thunder are, so there’s a lot of potential here for Jackson.

We got to see what Marcus Morris can do when he’s the focal point of an offense. Morris put up 26 points in the opener. He was just one of many pieces in Boston. I New York, Morris will be relied upon for games like this from time to time. Randle can’t do it all and they have about a dozen guards that get minutes.

Dark Horse:

Rookie Rui Hachimura posted a double double in his debut. Another could be on the horizon against the Thunder. I’ll take that for $5,000.

Expect a massive uptick in production for Nemanja Bjelica with Bagley slated to miss at least a month. This should also help Harrison Barnes, but maybe not in this game. The Kings likely wont go small against Portland. Bjelica should be the main benefactor of this development, and is going to be a huge value for the game or two that his price is this low. Trevor Ariza could see an uptick as well.
