DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

As expected, the numbers on Anthony Davis have taken a little bit of a dip since he entered LeBron’s orbit. The issue is that Davis’s price doesn’t reflect it. Don’t pay the premium here until Davis proves he can flirt with a 60 spot with LeBron on the same team.

Honorable Mention:

As far as pure talent goes, Jaren Jackson is one of the best. He’s also a big that’s playing the Nets. Don’t overthink this. Jackson is going to go all KAT on the Nets, but 50 DraftKings points is definitely possible Jackson’s price doesn’t come close to reflecting that.

PJ Washington is off to a terrific start to his career, but I’m not going to fall over myself trying to use him here. Washington is going to have his hands full with Davis here. He may still hit value since his price is low enough, but there is no way that he has the upside of Jackson.

Dark Horses:

Throughout his career Kelly Olynyk has proven that he can put up some big numbers in small minutes. Olynyk’s minutes are easier to count on with Hassan out of the picture, but he’s still not going to play more than 30. That said, the price is too low on Olynyk, Minnesota isn’t that great up front and Olynyk can do a lot with a little.

Maxi Kleber managed to steal some minutes back from Finney-Smith last game, and the two will likely be jockeying for position the entire time that Powell is out. The difference is that DFS is minimum price. Kleber is $4,400. Yes, Kleber has much more upside, but he hasn’t looked all that good yet.

My pick: N/A; Jackson(PF)
