DraftKings NBA Picks October 27: KAT of nine tails

Best Bets:
This is a tough matchup for Karl-Anthony Towns, but I’m not sure it matters. If you watched either of the first two Minnesota games, I want you to look at me with a straight face and say that Towns doesn’t deserve consideration as the best player in the league. I would even play Towns against Miami, a stance that is solidified by the fact that he’s cheaper than the Brow.
Towns has 155.75 DraftKings points in 67 minutes over the first two games. Tell me you’re willing to fade that. The torrid pace wont last al season, but I’d be floored if KAT came in under 60. I can’t say that for anyone else on the slate.
I chickened out and moved off of PorzinGOD on Friday and it cost me more winnings. Dallas isn’t ready to really turn Porzingis loose, and who can blame them? However, he has proven that he can do a whole lot of damage in 28-30 minutes.

Honorable Mention:
Hassan Whiteside is Towns lite. He has 84 DraftKings points in just 52 minutes. Don’t expect the minutes to increase much if at all, but Whiteside is going to continue clearing 40 with relative ease.
Bam is out of Whiteside’s shadow finally. Bam abused Milwaukee yesterday with 49.25 DraftKings points in 38 minutes. I don’t think Bam is quite that productive here, but 6x value is pretty likely.
Dark Horses:
Cody Zeller was strong in the opener, but I’m still not wild about him having to deal with the Lakers front. There’s not a lot of value at center tonight unless Clarke plays. You have to get value at guard instead.
My pick: Towns(C); Whiteside(C)
