DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($8,900): Young looks kind of cheap here. Aside from the disaster against Detroit last weekend, Young has at least 45 DraftKings points in each of the last seven games. It’s not like Harden and Westbrook are great defenders. On slates like this it isn’t about 5x value. It’s about relative value. Young is far more likely out outscore Westbrook at the position and is $400 less.

Honorable Mention:

Malcolm Brogdon ($7,300): Brogdon has been remarkably consistent with Indiana. In the three games since his return, Brogdon has 35, 39.5, and 35.5 DraftKings points. I don’t see a ton of upside, but Brodgon is definitely worth the money.

Terry Rozier ($6,300): Kemba who? The Hornets are getting very strong guard play out of Rozier and Graham. They don’t really miss Kemba at all. It’s still the same lack of production around the guards that prevent this team from being good. The difference is that these two guards aren’t having off games like Kemba did. Rozier has at least 37 DraftKings points in three of the last four games.

Dark Horse:

Deandre Bembry ($4,000): It looks as though Bembry has pushed Reddish to the bench, at least in the short term. The Hawks haven’t had the most consistent rotations around Young, but they would be foolish to remove Bembry after last night’s assault on the Pacers. Bembry has the potential to be the best value play on the slate. Or he could play 15 minutes. Don’t you love rebuilding teams?

George Hill ($3,700): It helps that Bledsoe is slumping, but honestly, Hill plays about the same minutes regardless. His upside is capped, but Hill has at least 18 DraftKings points in six straight games. I can live with that for the price.
