UFC Washington D.C. Alistair Overeem vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik fight card

View the full card, start time and channel guide for UFC Washington D.C. which is headlined by heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Following a rare three-week hiatus in action, the UFC returns on Dec. 7 with a fight card from Washington D.C. headlined by a pair of heavyweight knockout artists. In the main event, longtime veteran Alistair Overeem will square off with surging contender Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Rozenstruik comes into this fight on a perfect 9-0 record and three consecutive knockout wins in the UFC, including a stunning 9- second starching of Allen Crowder earlier this year. This will be Rozensruik’s fourth fight of 2019, all taking place in the UFC. He is replacing Walt Harris, who was removed from the card due to a family tragedy.

Overeem is one of the most experienced heavyweights in the world. A 62-fight veteran, Overeem is riding back-to-back wins over Sergey Pavlovich and Alexey Oleinik, both of which came by first-round stoppage.

Outside of the main event, the card features a handful of compelling match-ups. In the co-main event, top-10 ranked strawweights Cynthia Calvillo and Marina Rodriguez will battle to establish themselves as serious contenders in that division. Lower on the card, 22-year old Chinese phenom Song Yadong will aim to remain undefeated in the Octagon as he meets elite bantamweight Cody Stamann.
