Atalanta face AC Milan at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Sunday, Dec. 22. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Atalanta are chasing a spot in the top four for the third time in the past four seasons. On Sunday, the Goddess host AC Milan at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia. AC Milan can only dream of finishing in the top four. The once-great club has fallen and is struggling to get back to their place among Europe’s elite clubs. This season, Milan are 10th in Serie A with 21 points.

Atalanta are tied with Lazio for the most goals in Serie A. Under manager Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta have become one of the most appealing clubs to watch. Gasperini helped the Goddess reach the Champions League knockout stage for the first time in club history. While Atalanta are moving on in the Champions League, they have slipped in Serie A. Over their last seven games, the Goddess have picked up only eight points. Atalanta will rely on striker Luis Muriel and their high scoring offense to help the club pick up their third win in their last four games. Muriel leads the club with nine goals this season.

In the nine games since manager Stefano Polio took over at AC Milan, the club picked up 12 points. Milan are unbeaten in their last four games and finally, appear to be moving in the right direction. However, the once prolific club is still a shadow of itself. Milan have scored only 16 goals this season, the fifth-fewest in Serie A. Striker Krzysztof Piatek leads Milan with four goals this season but has failed to repeat his 22 goal season of a year ago. Milan will need Piatek to rediscover his scoring touch if they are going to go on a run in the second half of the season and potentially qualify for the Europa League next season.
