Scrubs

Joe Ingles (vs NY – $6,200 on DK; $5,700 on FD): As with Mitchell, my only real concern with Ingles is that this turns into a blowout and he doesn’t give you the extra value that you need. But also like with Mitchell, the matchup is worth it as he isn’t likely to hurt you at this price. He’s been playing consistent and he’s certainly going to get his looks in the Utah offense against this Knicks squad.

Markelle Fultz (vs WAS – $5,800 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Fultz is officially the best player in the league and now he has a great matchup against the Wizards, who are weak against the position. He’s playing with a lot of confidence and has really turned things around in his career. And the Magic are letting him loose a bit as well, which certainly helps.

Dejounte Murray (at BOS – $5,400 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Aside from a hiccup against the Thunder, Murray has played well in recent games. The Spurs look like they’re turning things around and Murray is a guy who gets plenty of minutes and opportunities for them. This should be a tight contest. Expect Murray to simply make plays and have his fingerprints on this game.

Thaddeus Young (at NO – $5,400 on DK; $5,400 on FD): Young has been playing well as of late and the Pelicans are weak against the position. He’s at a good price and certainly shouldn’t hurt you. He also had some strong games against the Pelicans in the past, although those were obviously different circumstances. I like the way the Bulls are playing right now and Young is a steady hand.

Brook Lopez (at GS – $5,300 on DK; $5,100 on FD): The Warriors are strong against the position and Lopez is an inconsistent player. But I expect the Warriors to come out with a lot of fire after their last game and while I don’t like some of the Bucks top end guys due to a potential blowout, I do like some of their value guys as they’ll find a way to make an impact. Lopez is one of them.
