DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($12,600): Luka has 155 DraftKings points in two games against the Warriors this year. Not impressive enough? He did all that damage in just 55 minutes of court time. That’s almost 3 fantasy points per minute! I would say that he can’t match that pace, but I’m not that dense. He certainly can. Just don’t expect it. 5x value seems likely though.

Ja Morant ($7,600): Morant racked up 39.25 DraftKings points in 28 minutes in the first meeting against the Rockets. I like him even more here not having to deal with Russ. Morant has shown a higher ceiling of late. This is about the same time that Trae figured it out last year. Morant’s hot streak could be here to stay.

Honorable Mention:

Jordan Clarkson ($5,600): It took him a bit to get acclimated, but Clarkson has put up back to back games of more than 30 DraftKings points. Clarkson likely wont see 34 minutes like he did with Mitchell out on Sunday, but I still expect strong numbers in his customary 25 minutes.

Patrick Beverley ($5,300): The trickle down of George’s production is mostly dried up when it reaches Beverley, but not totally. He has 75.75 DraftKings points over the last two games with George out. Beverley is cheap enough to take a chance on and gets enough minutes to be worthwhile. The fact that he plays Cleveland is just an added bonus.

Darius Garland ($5,200): He hasn’t been nearly as consistent as Sexton, but Garland’s ceiling appears to be just as high. That’s now four straight games over 27 DraftKings points for Garland. That’s a solid return, but the price is getting high enough that Garland doesn’t have as good of a chance at 6x value or more.

Dark Horses:

Donte DiVincenzo ($4,800): DiVincenzo is nothing exciting, but he is the leading scorer on the second unit. When he’s in there, he gets looks. DiVincezo’s production has actually increased and stabilized with his move back to this bench. The upside isn’t all that high, but the floor is 5x value. I’ll take that in any format.

De’Anthony Melton ($4,400): We’re going to have to play a backup or two to make salaries work. Luckily we have some good ones available to us. Melton has 57.75 DraftKings points in just 37 minutes over the last two games. He has been putting up a flurry of stats for the little time he’s on the court. There is some risk involved here, but Melton is putting up 7x value lately. Where else are you going to get that?
