Asuka made a statement during the WWE Raw Women’s Championship contract signing, and Buddy Murphy aligns with the Monday Night Messiah.

As the WWE Royal Rumble draws near, there were plenty of fireworks to go around this week. We saw another appearance from WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, and Asuka proved she has no fear when it comes to the Raw Women’s Champion. Here’s how things look after this week’s festivities.

Top 5: Tag Teams

1. The Viking Raiders

The reigning Raw Tag Team Champions issued an open challenge, but the Singh Brothers probably wish they hadn’t answered that call. Chalk up another victory, courtesy of the Viking Experience.

2. Authors of Pain

One of the most vicious duos in WWE picked up a huge win this week. Along with Seth Rollins, they knocked off The Big Show, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe in a fist fight. They can send that letter of appreciation to Buddy Murphy, who now seems to be aligned with the trio.

3. Singh Brothers

On one hand, it took a certain amount of guts to step up to an open challenge from The Viking Raiders. Then again…they were absolutely decimated by the champions.

4. The O.C.

It was an off night for the “best tag team in the world,” as they watched their partner A.J. Styles get blindsided by Randy Orton.

5. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

Speaking of off nights, the former Raw Tag Team Champions are still M.I.A. to start the year.
