NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs, and duds on DraftKings and FanDuel Feb. 2

Duds

OG Anunoby (vs CHI – $5,100 on DK; $4,300 on FD): I don’t know what’s wrong with OG right now but it’s not working and this salary is still too high on DK. Might not on a big night of action, but on a slow day of action, there’s better value elsewhere. Unfortunately, there’s not a ton of value on Sunday, but OG is not a player who is part of that value.

Deandre Ayton (at MIL – $7,500 on DK; $8,200 on FD): Ayton can be a bit all over the place as a high salary player and this is a rough matchup as the Bucks are great against the position. And the Bucks are coming off a loss, which is probably bad news for a weak Suns team seeing as the Bucks don’t lose often. VanVleet offers more value at a better price.

Kyle Lowry (vs CHI – $6,900 on DK; $7,000 on FD): With the Raptors getting healthy, Lowry doesn’t have to do quite as much. Obviously, he can still do plenty. But I like Ibaka more than Lowry in this game as the Bulls are tough against guards and this feels like a game where the Toronto forwards do most of the heavy lifting.

Derrick Favors (at HOU – $5,300 on DK; $5,300 on FD): This could go one of two ways for Favors. He might dominate as he’s played well against Houston this season and Capela is out. But with Zion back, Favors’ role has been reduced and his overall history against Houston is not good. He’s a risk that could pay off big or hurt big.
