Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 6 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7:30 p.m. ET: Orlando at New York
8 p.m. ET: New Orleans at Chicago, Philadelphia at Milwaukee
10 p.m. ET: San Antonio at Portland
10:30 p.m. ET: Houston at LA Lakers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

The trade deadline could, and likely will, change a lot of things. Teams could be shorthanded, opening up more opportunities for other players. Keep an eye on all the movement today and find value based on circumstances that I’m not able to predict.

Studs

Damian Lillard (vs SA – $10,000 on DK; $10,300 on FD): Lillard struggled big time against the Nuggets. The Nuggets schemed correctly and had the personnel to do so. I’m not convinced the Spurs can do the same. Give Lillard this game to bounce back given the roll he was on prior to the Denver game.

Anthony Davis (vs HOU – $9,700 on DK; $9,800 on FD): I cannot wait to take Anthony Davis on this night. The Rockets are going super small and Davis is the wrong matchup to try this out against. He should feast on the the glass and in the paint. The Rockets potentially being short handed with injuries and the moving trade parts doesn’t help their case. He’s an easy take.

Zach LaVine (vs NO – $8,400 on DK; $8,300 on FD): LaVine should have no issues getting his points in this one. The Pelicans are weak against the position and if they don’t have Zion then that’s one less deterrent in the paint. He’s a consistent player with a high ceiling.

Brandon Ingram (at CHI – $7,600 on DK; $8,200 on FD): And if the Pelicans don’t have Zion then Ingram’s value goes up. He’s been good even with Zion but he’ll get more opportunities as the primary scorer and he’s proven to be a consistent option this season. The Pelicans have some nice value if Zion doesn’t end up playing.

LaMarcus Aldridge (at POR – $6,500 on DK; $6,600 on FD): Aldridge is inconsistent and there’s less of a grudge here than there was a few years ago. But the Blazers defense still has plenty of flaws and the Spurs offense can get it going. He’s at a good price compared to the rest of the field and shouldn’t hurt you in this matchup.
