Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 10 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS ineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Charlotte at Detroit, Brooklyn at Indiana, Atlanta at Orlando
7:30 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Toronto
8 p.m. ET: Sacramento at Milwaukee
8:30 p.m. ET: Utah at Dallas
9 p.m. ET: San Antonio at Denver
10:30 p.m. ET: Miami at Golden State, Phoenix at LA Lakers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Karl-Anthony Towns (at TOR – $10,500 on DK; $10,000 on FD): Wiggins is gone and we’re getting the KAT show in Minnesota. If Russell plays, it helps Towns’ value because he won’t miss him in the post. It’s a tough matchup but the the energy around the Timberwolves has really changed and Towns rarely lacked for numbers.

Nikola Jokic (vs SA – $10,200 on DK; $11,300 on FD): Jokic has dominated the Spurs this season and he’s been on a roll as of late. All things are pointing to a big night for Jokic and we know he’s always a triple double threat. He won’t hurt you and the ceiling is very high.

Trae Young (at ORL – $10,100 on DK; $9,500 on FD): It’s a tough matchup on paper but Young has done very well against them and he’s a guy who rarely lacks for numbers. Trae’s bad games have been very bad as of late, but his top games have been excellent. I expect this to be another big performance.

Khris Middleton (vs SAC – $7,900 on DK; $7,400 on FD): You can always go with Giannis because he’s Giannis. But look for Middleton to pull his weight in a big way in the game alongside Giannis. He’s been having some strong games as of late, won’t hurt you, and has a high ceiling.

Christian Wood (vs CHA – $7,200 on DK; $8,100 on FD): The Hornets are very weak against the position and Wood has dominated with the trade of Drummond. He’s putting up double doubles and remains at a great salary given his current production level. He could be one of the top value players on the night given the matchup and his production.
