Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 26 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Joel Embiid (at CLE – $10,500 on DK; $10,200 on FD): Take Embiid with confidence over the next couple of weeks with Simmons out of the lineup. He is going to absolutely feast. And it’s a great matchup against the Cavaliers because he owns Andre Drummond. The Cavs are better with the new coach and while that will help their offense, it won’t help them slow Embiid.

Bradley Beal (vs BKN – $9,700 on DK; $9,400 on FD): I’m in on Beal. I waiting for him to slow due to some inconsistencies and matchups but he’s here. Which means I’m totally jinxing him and you should end up staying away. But he’s been on fire and trying his best to carry the Wizards. It’s a good matchup and he should remain hot.

Nikola Vucevic (at ATL – $9,500 on DK; $9,300 on FD): Vucevic isn’t going to hurt you, even at this price. And the ceiling is very high given the matchup. The Hawks can’t stop anyone on the inside and probably won’t be able to stop anyone on the inside until Capela joins the lineup. He’s an easy double double and then some.

Bam Adebayo (vs MIN – $9,000 on DK; $8,900 on FD): Bam got stitches following the last game but he should be good to go for this one. If he’s out then search elsewhere for value on Miami because they will be at great prices given the opportunities with potential injuries. Miami should feast on this matchup.

Caris LeVert (at WAS – $7,500 on DK; $6,500 on FD): You can go with Dinwiddie but LeVert is offering similar value at a better price. Dinwiddie does have the higher ceiling though. The matchup is the same either way and it’s a great one as the Wizards don’t play any defense. Both Nets stars should be in for a strong night.
