WWE Monday Night Raw power rankings: The Viper strikes again
Randy Orton hit an all-time low this week, and we have new tag team champions.
Let’s chalk the last couple of weeks of absence up to technical difficulties, but we’re back and ready to drop a new set of WWE Raw Power Rankings. That said, here is this this week’s list.
Top 5: Tag Teams
1. The Street Profits
They wanted the smoke, and they GOT the smoke! The Street Profits are the NEW Raw Tag Team Champions, and it finally elevated them to the top of the tag team list.
2. Seth Rollins & Buddy
The Monday Night Messiah and Murphy have had their success since joining forces, but their luck ran out this week. Now we wait to see what Rollins and company have up their sleeve.
3. The O.C.
They were in singles action this week, so no tag action to mention.
4. Viking Raiders
The former Raw Tag Team Champions had the night off, but it won’t be long before we see them destroying people again.
5. Authors of Pain
While they didn’t have a match this week, they attempted to keep the tag titles with Rollins and Murphy. But they failed, and will end up on the bottom of this week’s list.
Top 5 women
1. Becky Lynch
If you saw Raw this week, you saw a new look from “The Man.” And how fitting that she sported a crown, as she is reigning as the queen of the red brand.
2. Liv Morgan
Liv has had problems lately with Ruby Riott, since her former Riott Squad teammate returned last month. But she was able to pick up the win this week and get some momentum heading into Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match.
3. Shayna Baszler
Originally scheduled to face Asuka, Baszler had to settle for Kairi Sane. The last-minute change didn’t matter, as she derailed Sane and put the Raw women’s division on notice.
4. Sarah Morgan
Morgan served as the special referee for the Liv Morgan-Ruby Riott match, and seemingly picked her side by giving a fast three-count for Morgan. But afterwards, she laid out Morgan and let them both know she’s ready for the Elimination Chamber.
5. Ruby Riott
If Ruby wants to stand a chance of surviving on Sunday and punching her ticket for WrestleMania, she needs to put this week’s loss behind her and focus on getting through Sunday in one piece.
Top 10 men
1. Randy Orton
Randy Orton might as well be the Houston Astros at the moment — the most hated in the land. And delivering an RKO to Beth Pheonix just fuels the fire. He’s in for a rude awakening when Edge reappears.
2. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre has been in rare form lately, and he struck again this week with THREE Claymore Kicks to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. To say he’s ready for WrestleMania is a mild understatement.
3. Aleister Black
It’s hard enough having to go through Karl Anderson on any given night. But when your sights are set on AJ Styles, you apparently can go through Anderson AND Luke Gallows.
4. Riddick Moss
The reigning 24/7 Champion took advantage of a golden opportunity. He took advantage of a busted up Ricochet and retained the title.
5. Brock Lesnar
While he easily disposed of Ricochet at Super ShowDown last week, he had his hands full with Drew McIntyre. It’s rare that we see the WWE Champion have a bad night on Raw.
6. Erick Rowan
For months, we’ve been wondering what Rowan has been holding hostage in that cage. And this entire time, it was a giant…spider? So where do we go from here?
7. Kevin Owens
Owens has had enough of Rollins, and was more than enough of a distraction to cost Rollins and Murphy the Raw Tag Team titles.
8. Humberto Carrillo
Carrillo has had his problems with Andrade over the last couple of months, but he got some much-needed momentum with a tag team win this week.
9. AJ Styles
The Phenomenal One wanted nothing to do with Aleister Black, and sent his two OC brothers to do his dirty work. But all it did was guarantee a match this Sunday against an enraged master of the Black Mass.
10. No Way Jose
I’m just not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that Jose made the list this week because we FINALLY found out what is in Erick Rowan’s cage. Needless to say, he didn’t stick around after the reveal — smart move.
