When you’re the Cleveland Browns, drafting is hard. So let’s make this easy for them: Draft Andrew Thomas out of Georgia. He’s your next Joe Thomas, Browns.

If you give the Cleveland Browns a first-round pick, they’re more than likely to mess it up.

So we’re going to make this incredibly easy for them. You remember that guy who was good for you just a few years ago when you were still terrible? Yeah, that Joe Thomas guy. Okay, so what you need to do is draft the offensive tackle out of Georgia will the same last name as Thomas.

Yeah, do that, Browns.

With the No. 10 overall pick, the Browns should draft Georgia Bulldogs left tackle Andrew Thomas, as long as he’s still on the board. Though there are other teams who could use a left tackle, this is your guy, Browns. Trade up to get him if you have to.

This guy projects as the next Tyron Smith. While he may not be as elite as Joe Thomas, Andrew Thomas will certainly make life easier for first-year Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski and new general manager Andrew Berry.

Having a left tackle that doesn’t impersonate a turnstile will do wonders for starting quarterback Baker Mayfield in his third season out of Oklahoma. With a fellow Dawg, running back Nick Chubb to block for, we can see this Browns offense take flight by fixing one glaring hole in the top 10 of the upcoming draft.

Cleveland is closer than we realize to figuring this thing out. The Browns have wisely fixed their coaching deficiency by kicking Freddie Kitchens to the curb. Stefanski doesn’t have to do much to be a massive improvement over his Cleveland predecessor in the coaching department.

Overall, the Browns would be fine if they were to draft either Jedrick Wills Jr. out of Alabama or Tristan Wirfs out of Iowa with the No. 10 pick. All three offensive linemen are expected to go in the top 10 anyway.

Still, if Andrew Thomas is there, he’s the pick.
