Baltimore Ravens 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game

The 2019 regular season was a great one for the Baltimore Ravens, who went 14-2 to claim the best record in the NFL. Baltimore went one-and-done in the playoffs, but how will they fare with mostly the same cast back for 2020?

Now that their schedule has been released, let’s take a look at some game-by-game predictions for Baltimore this season.

Weeks 1-4

The only team to score a win at M&T Bank Stadium during the 2019 regular season was the Cleveland Browns, a fact the Ravens surely won’t forget. Lamar Jackson slices and dices the Browns on the way to a big divisional win.

The next matchup between Jackson and Deshaun Watson doesn’t go well for the home team since the Texans don’t have any real pass-catching options that can burn the Ravens’ secondary. Baltimore simply powers the football down Houston’s throat in an effort to deny Watson opportunities to wreck the game by himself and the strategy works to a T.

This game should be the key factor in the race for home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs, but in the end, Kansas City continues their recent mastery of Baltimore. Patrick Mahomes outduels Jackson in a high-scoring thrill ride decided by a game-winning touchdown pass to Travis Kelce in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

They may be geographical rivals, but there hasn’t been much of an on-field hatred between these two teams over the years. This game won’t do much to help that cause as Baltimore absolutely decimates a Washington team that is still trying to figure out if Dwayne Haskins is the long-term answer at quarterback.
