UFC Jacksonville: Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira full card betting odds

Here is everything you need to know about the betting odds for UFC Jacksonville: Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira.

On Wednesday, May 13, the UFC returns to action for its second live event in just five days. Just like UFC 249, UFC Jacksonville will take place in an empty arena with media and staff practicing social distancing to the extent possible.

In the main event, former light heavyweight title challengers Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira square off in a fight that could lead to another title shot for the winner. The much younger fighter, Smith finds himself as the favorite against Teixeira, who, despite putting together three consecutive wins in 2019, is now 40-years old and likely has bettors questioning his ability to continue fighting at an elite level.

In the co-main event, Ovince Saint Preux moves up to heavyweight to face Ben Rothwell. At the moment, St. Preux is a very slight favorite, but the fight is essentially a pick-em. Both men are coming off stoppage victories, but questions abound as to whether St. Preux’s size and skills will translate at a higher weight class, making this a difficult fight to bet.

For those unfamiliar with betting odds, they are easiest understood by assuming each bet is $100. For example, if a bettor chooses Teixeira at +150, that means a $100 bet would return $150 if he wins. On the flip side, if one were to bet Smith at -185, a $185 bet would be needed in order to win $100 should Smith come away victorious.
