Dwyane Wade has a new Dennis Rodman look, And The Worm approves

Dwyane Wade’s new hairdo shocks followers and gets love from Dennis Rodman.

There’s at least one guy who diggs Dwyane Wade’s new hairdo.

The former NBA superstar and longtime player of the Miami Heat has been posting pictures of his newly dyed hair on Instagram the past few days. Wade dyed his hair red. He hinted it was time to change things up.

“When they think they know—Switch it up! #Free #RedHairDontCare,” Wade captioned, followed by a red drip, an Instagram post where he unveiled his red hair to the world.

The color choice is reminiscent to when Dennis Rodman would use red dye as one of his color options when playing for the Chicago Bulls. Rodman’s iconic 90s hairstyles have recently been brought to the spotlight as he was featured in The Last Dance documentary. Wade’s hair coloring caught the attention of Rodman.

“Nice. Hair. Brother.,” Rodman commented on social media.

Wade shared Rodman’s approval Sunday on Instagram along with a side-by-side image of him and Rodman rocking their red hair.

The Last Dance also included a recent discovery of one of Rodman’s hair choices. Rodman would sometimes dye his hair blonde and black. What then looked like a Leopard pattern, Rodman revealed it was really a pattern of repeated black dyed 33s in his hair contrasting the sea of blonde hair, an homage to Scottie Pippen.

As Wade changes things up only time will tell if he decides to get creative or even use a “3” pattern as that was his iconic number. However, his wife and Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union has yet to publicly voice her thoughts on Wade’s hair choice. Perhaps that will determine if Wade continues to change things up or let this one-time hairdo pass as it dyes out.
