The Denver Broncos haven’t been great since they won Super Bowl 50. They are in need of a breakout star and I have just the person.

Courtland Sutton (currently ranked as WR19): This will be Courtland’s third season in the NFL. In 2019, Courtland put up 72 receptions, 1112 yards and 6 TD’s and finished as WR17, much higher than where he was drafted in fantasy.

Sutton became the #1 option in Week 8 of 2019 after the Broncos traded Emmanuel Sanders. This was exactly what Courtland needed. He saw more targets than ever before and made the most of those extra opportunities. As the season progressed, teams focused on Courtland and made the Broncos QB’s go elsewhere leading to diminished fantasy production from Sutton.

This year will be different. With the drafting of Jerry Jeudy and the emergence of Noah Fant and Drew Lock, this offense will be substantially better. Expect more scoring chances and more touchdowns for Sutton. Sutton could and should finish as a Top 12 WR, much better than the current WR19 he is being drafted as.

I prefer him over players like AJ Brown (WR11) and Calvin Ridley (WR16). Nothing against those two guys, they just won’t see the number of targets as Courtland will. Scoop Courtland up in your draft and watch him return WR1 value at a WR2 price.

Let’s move onto the Los Angeles Chargers.
