21 questions we need answered at the UFC 246 press conference

The UFC will be holding a press conference featuring the main event fighters of UFC 246 on Wednesday, here is a list of questions we need to be answered.

The first pay-per-view of 2020 is going to be a huge one. The event will be headlined by Conor McGregor and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. The fight will be the long-awaited return of McGregor and a possible fight of the year candidate. Before the big fight, the UFC will bring the main event fighters out in front of the fans and media to answer questions. With many underlying factors between the two fighters, here is a list of questions we want to be answered at the presser.

  1. Why did it take so long to have a presser?
  2. Why hasn’t McGregor addressed the media in regards to his alleged sexual assaults?
  3. Why hasn’t the UFC addressed the media in regards to his alleged sexual assaults?
  4. Why is this fight at 170 pounds?
  5. Will McGregor receive a title shot at 170 with a win?
  6. With Cerrone receive a title shot at 170 with a win?
  7. Will Jorge Masvidal rematch Nate Diaz?
  8. Is McGregor the next title contender at lightweight?
  9. Why was having the fight on this date so important to McGregor?
  10. Will Cerrone continue to fight at 170?
  11. Many fighters have been calling out GSP lately, will we see him return in 2020?
  12. Will the UFC allow McGregor to fight Masvidal for the BMF title?
  13. When will we see Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier 3?
  14. Is McGregor the official backup for the UFC 248 main event, as reported?
  15. Are the rumors of Nike replacing Reebok true?
  16. Did McGregor ok that crazy Reebok T-Shirt?
  17. Was there an issue getting McGregor into the country that led to a delay in announcing this fight?
  18. Does Cerrone have an issue with the pending sexual assault accusations toward McGregor?

UFC 246 is set to take place on Jan.18 live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The press conference will be held on Wednesday Jan.15 at 5 pm PT. The event will be free and open to the public. The presser can be viewed on YouTube.
