Jacksonville Jaguars. 1. team. 52. . .

Even though Gardner Minshew was sublime over the course of the 2019 season, Doug Marrone’s Jaguars are expected to contend for the No. 1 pick in the 2021 draft, as trading away nearly every player of value on defense and sticking with a solid, if uninspiring, offense has the Jaguars eyeing Trevor Lawrence and/or Justin Fields. If the Jaguars can lose enough to land one of those two, Riley’s interest in joining that organization will increase exponentially.

Riley might not want to leave the cream of the Big 12 crop for a rebuilding project that could see him struggle out of the gate, but the Jaguars landed Lawrence in the draft might be too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Lawrence and Riley together at the college level would be almost unfair. The two linking up in the pros could set the Jaguars up for the next decade or more.
