As captain of the champion Liverpool squad, Henderson received a mural fit for his reputation.

Liverpool continues to soak in the joys of its first Premier League trophy to end a thirty-year drought in top-flight domestic titles.

The team is bound to live on for many years to come as one of the most successful in the club’s history. Captain Jordan Henderson was a big reason for that, and his role has been celebrated with a gorgeous mural outside the team’s home at Anfield.

Henderson was even kind enough to visit and sign the mural, commissioned by The Redmen TV, an independent Liverpool fan channel. The black brick is adorned with Henderson hoisting the EPL trophy and the slogan, “Anything is possible, never stop believing…”

Two Liverpool generations have been memorialized outside Anfield.

Across the road is a mural of Trent Alexander-Arnold, the 21-year-old marksman who has taken the world by storm. Born in Liverpool himself, Alexander-Arnold’s mural has the inspiring message, “I’m just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true.” He paid a visit himself as well.

Since arriving in 2011, Jordan Henderson has grown into one of Liverpool’s most iconic faces. With 269 appearances for the squad over a decade, Henderson’s role has grown alongside the club’s success.

Showing his commitment after refusing a deal to Fulham, Henderson quickly became an established member of the squad and by the 14-15 season was named vice-captain.

After the departure of the legendary Steven Gerrard, Henderson took charge with large shoes to fill and has done just that. His leadership, alongside the arrival of Jurgen Klopp and countless talented signings, has culminated in a Premier League trophy.

None of that would be possible without the captain, and he’s now been immortalized outside Anfield, at least for now, and likely forever.
