DraftKings NBA picks July 31: Giannis will dominate Disney World

DraftKings NBA guard plays
There are some elite guards out there. Luka Doncic played Houston once this year and erupted for 71 DraftKings points. Harden has 137 DraftKings points in two games against Dallas, both with Russ on the court.
We will have to choose one of the three guards. Westbrook is the first one I’ll eliminate. We can’t afford both Luka and Harden and still field a competitive roster. I’ll lean towards Luka. Harden has more mouths around him to feed Dallas is building around Doncic. We can do the same.
We can afford another mid-level guard if we want. Devin Booker against Washington is tempting with Oubre out and Washington gutted. They were hoping to have at least Beal back, if not Wall. They have neither.
DeAaron Fox was just starting to hit his stride when the season was halted. It sometimes takes him a bit to get going. I think I would take the upside of Ja Morant over anyone else in this tier. He did well against Portland in the one game earlier this year. Ricky Rubio is the boom-or-bust entry.
Kemba is on a minutes limit and Bledsoe is out. That leaves Marcus Smart as a rather intriguing option, even if he is a bit expensive. I also like Terrence Ross and his elite scoring potential in this price range. Shabazz Napier starting for Washington is solid too.
On the Milwaukee side, I’m a huge fan of George Hill on the cheap. Bledsoe and Connaughton are both out. DiVincenzo is also a strong play if you can afford him because he can play both guard slots.
Buddy Hield is too cheap for his potential. The same can be said for Seth Curry with Brunson out and Markelle Fultz against he gutted Nets. Speaking of the Nets, Garrett Temple is an absolute steal for the price. Joe Harris and Tyler Johnson are intriguing, but right now, none possess the upside of Temple.
