Draymond Green had high praise for Kevin Durant.

Draymond Green famously recruited Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors after the team lost the 2016 NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The pitch worked and Durant helped form a super-team in Oakland.

Durant is already a Hall of Famer and made that even more clear by winning two titles with the Warriors. He made the team unstoppable and left everyone in awe with his ability to score in so many different ways.

Green may have had some disagreements with Durant along the way, but the Warriors forward was a guest analyst on TNT and made sure to praise his former teammate during a conversation about great scorers.

Draymond Green sees Kevin Durant as the best

Durant is a four-time scoring champion and has a career average of 27 points-per-game. He has averaged over 30 points per game in two seasons and it is easy to see why Green considers him the greatest of all-time.

There is no real way to stop Durant. He stands 6-10 and can shoot three-pointers over just about any defender. All opponents can do is hope he misses. His size also allows him to go straight to the rim and go over the top of defenders with his length. He also averages nearly seven made free throws per game throughout his career, so fouling him doesn’t usually result in an empty trip down the floor.

Green’s words are no hyperbole. Durant has been an elite scorer since entering the league as a teenager. Someone his size who can shoot so well from outside is tough to stop given the fact an athletic defender must be placed on him.

Green has a habit of speaking his mind and that doesn’t always go over well with fans. In this case he is making a claim that is hard to argue against.
