It’s not the sexy pick, but it is the right pick. Expect Ronald Jones to dominate the backfield touches this season.

Ronald Jones (currently ranked as: RB30): The second round pick from 2018 out of USC has not started his career as he had hoped. In his rookie campaign, he was hindered by injuries cutting his season short. In his second year, if you owned him, you got to see him split touches with Peyton Barber despite constantly showing he was more talented than Barber. With Barber in DC, RoJo now has the backfield to himself (for the most part) and he will feast.

Head Coach Bruce Arians has spoke about RoJo being ‘the guy’ in the backfield which are telling signs as to how often they will use him. It is usually very successful to own Bruce Arians’ RB in fantasy football, and this will be another season where that proves true. With so much focus on the passing attack led by Brady, Evans and Godwin, Ronald Jones will be given the opportunity to run free against opposing defenses. Lastly, this offense will be more efficient in 2020 and RoJo will be gifted with many RedZone touches which he will cash in for some touchdowns. RoJo comes with a lot of upside, unlike someone like Jordan Howard (RB31) who is being drafted right next to RoJo. Take a later round flier on Ronald Jones.
