Ha Ha Clinton-Dix believes Cowboys can win Super Bowl in 2020.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has high hopes for the 2020 Dallas Cowboys. He believes the Boys are ready to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl since 1996. He told The Athletic’s Jon Machota, “We want to win a championship. That’s why we’re here. We’re ready to win a championship.”

Clinton-Dix signed a one-year, $3.75 million contract with the Cowboys this offseason. He wants to make an immediate impact and help lead the team to their ultimate goal.

The Cowboys certainly have the skill to make a deep playoff run. Their offensive weapons are scary on paper. With a wide receiver trio of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys have the opportunity to be incredibly creative in the passing game. Of course, they still have one of the leagues’ top running backs in Ezekiel Elliot and a solid quarterback in Dak Prescott.

Clinton-Dix will play a big role on Cowboys in 2020

New head coach Mike McCarthy will look to have the Cowboys realize their full potential in his first season with the team. Clinton-Dix knows McCarthy well, playing under him for four and a half seasons in Green Bay. Clinton-Dix described him as a “player’s coach”. He told reporters, “He’s very approachable. If you have questions, don’t be afraid to step to him.”

Clinton-Dix will be a major contributor to a secondary that has a lot to prove this season. After losing Byron Jones this offseason, there are many question marks around the Cowboys pass defenders.

Clinton-Dix is a veteran presence on an otherwise young group that consists of Chidobe Awuzie, Trevon Diggs and Xavier Woods. Clinton-Dix has a chance to lead the secondary in 2020. McCarthy definitely trusts him and he will be a very important player for the Cowboys this season.
