A San Francisco Giants fan used a cardboard cutout to try and get back on the good side of a woman named Cynthia.

With no fans in the stands for the shortened 2020 Major League Baseball season, teams across both leagues are filling their stadiums with cardboard cutouts. This includes fans’ faces on them, which makes people miss being able to attend the contests even more.

As it turns out, some fans out there are also hoping to use these cutout items as a chance to get back on the good side of people they wronged. Take a look at a San Francisco Giants fan for example.

He apparently messed things up with a woman by the name of Cynthia, but is trying to win her back with an apology on his very own cutout. This is something you just can’t make up.

What do you say, Cynthia? Will she forgive him? Will she call him? The country will be sitting on pins and needles waiting to find out the answer!

In all seriousness, this was quite the creative way to extend an apology. Who knows what this poor guy did, but the national attention he’s getting right now, one would assume, could be enough to have Cynthia forgive him.

Unfortunately for this Giants fan, he’s seen San Francisco struggle throughout the ’20 season. Entering Saturday’s showdown with the A’s, they hold an 8-13 record and sit in last place of the NL West standings.

While Giants Nation will wait to see if the team can turn the season around, fans will also be wondering if Cynthia will forgive this random man as well. He has decided to shoot his shot and has gone viral for his efforts. We’ll see if it’s enough to win back Cynthia.
