NBA DFS picks September 2: Can the Butler do it again?

We have another two game NBA DFS day in the bubble and another Game 7. The Bucks and Heat were as advertised in Game 1. Oklahoma City and Houston have had a back and forth series. Which Rockets team shows up tonight? Which Thunder team? That’s going to affect how you build.

First, let’s check out the injuries. These four teams have been pretty healthy of late. Did that continue?

Out: Chris Silva (pelvis).

Questionable: Eric Bledsoe (hamstring).

Bledsoe did practice yesterday, so there’s more optimism that he will play. However, it was all non-contact drills. My guess is that even if Bledsoe plays, it will be in a limited capacity. It likely wont affect whether I use George Hill or not. He was a dud in Game 1.

Game 7 was a total bust last night as far as NBA DFS goes. Kemba’s subpar outing ended up being one of the better scores of the night. I had too much exposure to Murray and Mitchell to have a positive night despite most value picks being solid. Hopefully tonight’s Game 7 is much more exciting from a fantasy format.

Besides, who wants to see two NBA teams struggle to score 80? I guess the Nuggets and Jazz gave us a glimpse of what could have been if the NCAA tournament weren’t canceled.
