Miami Dolphins quarterback and former top-10 draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals, Josh Rosen, might be on the move again with the ascension of Tua Tagovailoa on the team’s depth chart. These are the teams that would be wise to make a move for the former UCLA signal-caller.

After UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen was picked 10th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, he has been shuffled down one of the most difficult paths toward success in recent history. After starting on a Cardinals team coached by a lame-duck head coach in Steve Wilks that looked like a college team, Rosen was traded to the Miami Dolphins after Arizona took Kyler Murray in the 2019 Draft.

After struggling on a Miami team that made no bones about the fact they were going to be awful in 2019, Rosen might be on the trade block once again after Miami picked up Tua Tagovailoa in the 2020 draft.

Rosen might be hovering on the edges of bust territory, but a team that has more complementary pieces around him than either Arizona or Miami offered could help him reach his potential as either a starter or quality backup. These three teams should try to give up a draft pick in order to acquire Rosen.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. 60. NFC North. . Minnesota Vikings. player

Kirk Cousins is the starter in Minnesota, and he’ll be there for the foreseeable future. Rosen won’t take the starting job, but he would clearly be the best backup quarterback on Minnesota’s roster. Sean Mannion has been in the league for half a decade, but the former third-rounder has yet to throw a touchdown pass. Nate Stanley doesn’t have the athleticism to stick long-term, and Jake Browning isn’t an NFL quarterback.

Rosen, for all his decision-making flaws, has some exceptional arm talent and an ability to spray the ball all over the field. Adding Rosen for a mid-round pick would go some way to ensure that one awkward turn of Cousins’ ankle doesn’t derail their playoff hopes. With the likes of Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook on this roster, the Vikings could give Rosen the best supporting cast he’s ever had.
