NBA DFS picks September 4: Can the Rockets hang with the Lakers?

NBA DFS guard plays
As Westbrook’s production went up, Harden’s went down. The Lakers were tough on guards all season, but the absence of Avery Bradley hurts that a little. Westbrook or Harden will have to take the game over to make either one worth it. I’m not sure they will. If I play one it will be Harden, but I’m not going to compromise my lineup to do so.
Just play Goran Dragic already! What more proof do you need that he’s the best point guard in the playoffs for the price? He’s close to the best overall anyway!
It was a true team effort by the Heat to down the Bucks on Wednesday. Jimmy Butler had a pretty pedestrian game. This highlights how deep the Heat are and how they don’t rely on just one guy. Dragic is the only big play of the lot. Most of them are solid, but only Dragic has huge upside.
It was a solid return for Eric Bledsoe, but we still want more of the money. Dragic has spoiled us. Eric Gordon has more upside for the same price. That said, guard drops off very quickly. If you’re not paying for Harden or Russ, you have to use Bledsoe. That’s especially true on FanDuel.
The other option is to play roulette with the rest of the Miami guards. I have no issues using Tyler Herro due to the upside, but this has been an erratic series for both Duncan Robinson and Nunn. You can’t rely on either of them. Just the presence of Nunn even makes playing Herro nerve wracking.
KCP and Wes Matthews are solid values, but neither of them has a high ceiling. I prefer KCP, but the return of Rondo could eat into his minutes.
Rajon Rondo for nearly minimum price on both sites is highway robbery. Enjoy this savings. It will be gone by Game 3, if it even takes that long.
